Avoid judgment, criticism, and refrain from trying to fix their issues. Instead, offer support and respect. Express genuine gratitude to those sharing their stories, and tell them how much you appreciate them. Ask thoughtful questions that show your interest and understanding. Remember, your unique perspective contributes to the richness of the conversation. Trust in the journey and the lessons it brings.
Graticube is a tabletop game with a big heart for human connection. Explore the cosmic TIME and SPACE dice and a continuum of cards including, SToRy, curiosity and gratitude. Roll the dice then pull a SToRy card. What first comes to mind after reading the SToRy card? Do you need a moment to consider what you want to share? Please feel free to enjoy a thoughtful moment.
Sometimes the dice and your story have an obvious connection. If that’s true, share your story including how they relate. However, if the dice aren’t obviously connected, don’t worry. Go ahead with what first came to mind, then come back to the dice at the end of your share. Most times, the words on the dice will make their way into your story naturally. If you are still stumped after sharing, consider asking other players if they see a connection.
Other players can hand you a curiosity card to continue exploring what you’ve shared, or a gratitude card to share their appreciation. When finished, the next player rolls the dice and selects a SToRy card.
Play a few rounds and be sure to leave time for the Gift Card round.
